Hi Georgia, I’m having trouble making sense of this article. You use in the headline the words ‘Greater Sydney’ to describe where all the apartment-dwelling kids are, presumably referring to an area that includes the top ten LGA’s you list. Later you say that ‘inner Sydney has the highest concentration’ but unless you consider ‘inner Sydney’ and ‘Greater Sydney’ to mean the same thing, it doesn’t seem to make sense.

(copied from a debate on Paddy Corr’s Facebook posting in relation to this article over the weekend).
OK Fiona and Simone, I have reread and gained insight.

The term used in Georgia Allen’s article is the non-specific “inner Sydney” rather than the implied specific “Inner Sydney” but inviting confusion as to whether it is meant to be “City and Inner South (SA4)” or “Inner West (SA4) or “Inner South West (SA4)…

    Hi,
Sorry but I am having trouble pulling out the figures you have quoted for the City of Ryde LGA.
Would you mind providing a step by step on how to figure out what % of children (also what age group?) live in apartments. I’d like to compare 211 and 2016.
    many thanks
