    Great article Glenn. What I don’t understand though is shouldn’t it be Force not Jedi? If you’re a Jedi Knight that’s an occupation not a religion!

    • Excellent point! Actually if you think about it, “The Force” is a similar concept to a lot of New Age style thought – life force, mother nature etc. – and there is already a category called “New Age, so described”, so maybe “The Force, so described” could be a new category. Agree with Jedi as an occupation. Unfortunately I don’t think the ABS will release the numbers who wrote Jedi as an answer to THAT question – but I bet there were some!
